Why we started

A card that makes kindness feel safe

One Act of Kindness began with a simple worry: that an unexpected act of generosity — paying for a stranger's coffee, leaving groceries on a doorstep — can sometimes feel confusing, even uncomfortable, to the person receiving it.

The card exists to make that gesture feel safe and understandable: no obligation, no hidden expectation, just an invitation to pass kindness forward when the moment feels right.

Read Our Story

Kindness grows when one person chooses to act.

Every card you leave creates the opportunity for another act of kindness somewhere else.
